Run by the same family who owns Hampi's famous Mango Tree restaurant .Though located slightly off the ruins, on one end of Kamalapur town, it hardly takes 15-20 minutes by auto to all the major attractions. In fact, we found the location to be ideal to crash after a long day of exploring the ruins. Our auto driver Mr. Mustafa recommended by the homestay was really good and stayed with us throughout

The place was unexpectedly amazing. It is a brand new construction. Rooms are very cozy. Surrounding gives a very village-like feel. The owner was very kind to provide a homemade breakfast. It is only about 2 KM from the Kamlapur circle. If you have your own vehicle, it'd take about 20 min to go to Ha

I and my three friends visited Hampi in September 2023.For our stay there we picked Mango Tree (homestay) as we had heard a lot of rave reviews from other friends who had been to Hampi earlier. It is a charming and cosy place to stay at. We were all so relieved as the place is filled with greenery

Very well maintained homestay. People who run this place, and the helper Raju, are all extremely polite and helpful. The distance from the main attractions of Hampi is a little far off (about 4.2 km), but you can request them to arrange a rental bike/cycle and its manageable. Would definitely recomm

Spacious and hygienic room. Home cooked breakfast was nice. We didn't want to stay very close to the Bazaar or the ruins. Hence this option suited us. This homestay is about 6 kms from the main ruins. Calm and quiet locality. Host Lakshmi and her assistant Kajal ensured we had a hassle-free stay.

Very bright, modern and comfortable little hotel near - about 2 km - the entrance to the Vijayanagar site at Hampi. It is family-run and very friendly and helpful. If you don't have your own transport, you will need to use a taxi or tuktuk to get to shops and restaurants; although you can order and

An Indian homestay is much like a guesthouse in the UK. The English-speaking hosts at Mango Tree were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and whilst our stay was room-only, they prepared breakfasts both mornings for a small charge. The room was very nice for a homestay; clean, well-maintained and r
