Rooms are very basic but everything was clean and worth for what we paid. Owner and his son are very much helpful.Location is just behind The main Virupaksha Temple and next to The famous Mango Tree Restaurant. Free WiFi is available but network speed is low.I guess everywhere @ Hampi its the same

The Shambhu Dosa Centre attached to Shambhu guest house was the best place for me for breakfast . They open early and breakfast was ready by 715 am - 730am. The rooms are clean and nice. The best place to stay in Hampi's Bazar.It is close to most famous temples and 5 mn walk to the river.Shamboo will welcome you very well and will make everything to make your stay good.

First, I booked Padma Guest House then Cleartrip arranged Shambhu guest house because of some technical issue from their end. Stay at Shambu guest house was very disappointing. At the time of check in, they told all rooms are occupied and arranged some other room which was not at all good. They said

Happen to just stumble upon this place for two nights with my friend and it was excellent. Best location in Hampi, centrally located and 2 minutes away from Mango Tree Café. My friends and booked this hotel for 2 nights. Good location, clean rooms and bathrooms. We only spent the nights here, as we were sightseeing most of the day. Inspite of arriving early, the owner gave us 1 room to freshen-up. Rooms do feel bit tiny but when you are out most of the day and returning

We were supposed to stay on the other side of the river, but we opted to stay more central and we ended up with SHambu! The owner it's such a nice guy and he's always around in case you need help. It's very well located, near the temples and all sorts of shops and cafes. Worth staying here!

A clean room with a good location right next to the temple, to the mango tree restaurant and to a good place for breakfast. Walkable distance to the other temples. Nice view from the rooftop. Good value for the price. Can help with booking further travel.

Shambhu Guest House is a budget hotel with small rooms. The rooms seemed clean. A large bed takes up most of the space in the room. There's some shelf space built into the wall. Our room had no windows (not that there's much to see---unless you go to the terrace, which is accessible to all guests).E

Shambhu is overall OK. There is a kitchen (consisting of a few stovetop burners) but management claims that they are broken; in reality, the burners work fine but management doesn't want to save on gas and matches. The shower consists of two different showerheads, about six inches apart. One dribble
