I was booked at the Taj Club House. However, since it was not open, i was given alternate accommodation at Taj Connemara. An awesome experience of a stay which i felt was a short one. A true haven from the tumult of 2020 Chennai. An immaculately kept hotel, recently refurbished and updated, but keeping the feel of the city's "colonial" past. I had stayed with my family in July 2021 and had a very comfortable stay. I had booked my room on their website and during check in I had requested for a room upgrade (with a bathtub) as the pool was closed to the public. I was given a Colonial room with a bathtub. This room is beautifully spacious
