We stayed at The Bloomrooms at Calangute between 12-15 Feb 2020. Our room was ready before we came in and the check in process was very smooth. Bloom Rooms is situated behind Macdonalds which is in very close to lots of restaurants and bars in central Calangute , Calangute beach is approx 15 mins walk. Definitely not a holiday destination for children, but excellent variety of food and bars at very low cost. If you go on the beach, its worth walking 10-15mins down to one of the further away shacks as the immediate ones are packed out constantly with locals. Taxis and Tuk Tuks will try ask for 200-
