If you’re looking to stay inside the walls of the fort in Jaisalmer I’d highly recommend Hotel Victoria. It’s a small hotel hidden away on a quiet street. Victoria hotel really goes by the phrase “Athithi Devo Bhava”. The hotel is located inside the fort. We visited Jaisalmer in Feb 2020 and stayed at Victoria. We were six of us and had booked three rooms. All the rooms were comfortable and beautifully done with all modern amenities. One of our rooms

This was 2nd time I stayed at Hotel Victoria. Last time I visited was in 2018 and fell in love with this property. We stayed here and it was one of our favourite hotels during our 3 week tour of India. Clean, tidy and amazing view. Fantastic position near restaurants and markets. We were made to feel very welcome and would also recommend the trotters camal safari based just outside the fort
