Being a solo female traveler I am always very picky about places which must have a guaranteed offering of peace , safety , comfort and delicacies. So first the negative point - I had found this hotel while searching for Lava on Tripadvisor and it is some 20-25 kms from lava (though it is mentioned 16.4 kms) - but even were so it is quite far away and from lava and at half the height. I stayed in this tranquil abode with my wife and daughter and the experience was worth value for money. Special kudos to Mr. and Mrs. Boudha Tamang for arranging everything and making us feel at home. Looking forward to our next visit here soon.

Away from the crowds and traffic, situated in nature, this is the ideal place for a stay when visiting Kalimpong . Not far from any place and yet calm. The staff is so welcoming and warm... the rooms are nice and comfortable.. Would recommend this place strongly....

The resort is little away from the town but it's worth it, the location is amazing and gives you the feeling of a perfect holiday. The room where I stayed gives you the feeling of a tent in the middle of the jungle with so much of greenery surrounding. The staffs are great and very helpful

The management has changed and seems like this place has not been cleaned for a while now.The food served was good.Lot of insects in the resort rooms, you would have to fight it whole night.Try to book a hotel inside the market place
