I made an unplanned trip to kodaikannal hence I have not booked hotel room in advance. It was a family trip with my my wife and kid. I stayed there for two days. The location is walkable distance from lakes. Room & wash room is clean and tidy and the staffs are courteous and responsive. Old type

Recently visited the Grand palace Hotel. It's a 3 star lik Hotel. We were a family of 7 . We had prebooked 2 royal deluxe n 1 triple room. Location was walkable to kodai lake. Parking was enough for around 10 to 12 vehicles. Rooms were simple, clean, cozy, blankets were clean. 2 towels were provided

We booked this Hotel from MMT on prepaid and called the hotel to confirm our booking. Over the phone the hotel operator confirmed our booking, but when we reached the place they informed that MMT has not yet confirmed the booking. We shifted our luggage from car to rooms by own at the time of arrival and departure also,no housekeeping staff there, no service, no waiter for help.. We stay in this LODGE on 19dec to 20dec for a business trip. we are 50 to 60 person stay in this LODGE. Food is very poor we can't able to eat. House keeping also very worst. If you ask a drinking water they will give you after two hours. Bachelor's don't stay in this LODGE.
