On our last trip to the North East I got in touch with Nino Zhasa to seek guidance on places to visit as well as recommendations on places to stay. I was pleasantly surprised that she runs a homestay at Greenwood Villa on the Kohima-Imphal highway very close to the Kisama village where the Hornbill Festival is held each year. Since we were very keen to visit some traditional Naga homes in the vill

We took the INR 300/ person room. It is good enough with basic amenities for back packers. However if you want a high end room, you may look out for the INR 1200 room. Amen - the in-charge was very courteous and well-networked. A happy to help person and knows the meaning of hospitality. A good idea

Nino Zhasa is warm welcoming knowledgable host and she runs a splendid guesthouse in her family home right next to the Hornbill Venue. With several rooms, different standards of accommodation are available, with breakfast, lunch, dinner, laundry all available plus local excursions and Nagaland info
