This was a very pleasant place to stay. Really clean, hardly any mosquitoes (maybe one or two) which is saying something in Kottayam. Stayed for a couple days this month on an official trip , A Good quite place to stay in Kottayam and importantly if your on an official or personal trip. it is conveniently located in the centre of the city and yes nice clean rooms and linen & bathroom spotless.Cant expect much of room service

It is a very old hotel but maintained very clean.It has 3 floors but unfortunately they do not have an elevator.Similarly some of the rooms have hot water and many do not have.But the receptionist and the staff are very polite and friendly.The tariff is very reasonable and this place can be used for

Not recommend to stay here..room service very poor. no bedsheets. bath towel and soap not providing aftr asking they provided.price higher side 1600 for limited facility. Even one tea also not provided in the morng when asked with room service .

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews in trip advisor and also the hotel took extra money from me saying trip advisor has the old price and you have to pay according to the new price.. The hotel staffs were drunk and it was too risky for a family to stay..i strongly advice not to go reading

Just any word of appreciation is not enough for this hotel.Clean rooms,excellent food,fast service.Hotel staff is too good and always ready to help.I simply can't think of any other hotel in kottayam other than this hotel.Hats off to them.

We stayed for 1 night at Kottayam en route Kochi from Thekkady in Feb'13. Homestead Hotel has a great location-- opposite the Malayala Manorama Building and 1 km from railway station. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor with enough space for an extra bed. Hot water was available 24X7 thank

This is the perfect city center hotel really, extremely clean rooms right in the center of town with excellent restaurants right on the door. Staff very friendly and helpful with taxis etc. Kottayam a surprisingly interesting and nice town, ancient churches, great temples that are open to non Hindus
