Don't expect much by looking at the website. Website says they have restaurant but there isn't even facility to serve tea/coffee in room. However, staff is pretty helpful by getting things for you from near by shops/hotels. Service is good.Plus point is being in same town as AVS and pretty close to

We stayed at ruby residency in December 2014.We had come to kottakal for a consultation at the famous aryavaidya sala and stayed at Ruby for a night.On the plus side ,the hotel is located on the main road ,everything is available close by.Its quite close to the vaidya sala OPD.The rooms we stayed in

Being a regular visitor (at least 6 to 8 days every month) i assure those who wants to stay in kottakkal, the neatness, service and the best co-operation from the management of Ruby residency. No need to think twice to choose ruby residency. Really a home away from home.

This hotel is located on the main road at Kottakal, close to the ayurveda centre. But being on the main road, there is lot of traffic noise. The rooms are of average size, also average in facilities and cleanliness. There is no restaurant and since the town closes early, be sure to go out for dinner
