We stayed at Hotel Rupmati in March, towards the tail-end of the tourist season at Mandu. The hotel is nice, very kind staff and good spacious rooms. But the best part about the hotel is the view that it offers. If you take the cottages, then you are staying right at the point where the valley starts. A place to see the sun rise. I am sure it would be breath taking during the monsoon too.The hote

Mandu is a stunning destination with incredible historic monuments that are not overrun with tourists. Much of the time you have the place to yourself. Just rent a bike up the road from the Rupmati and take your time riding from one palace / mosque / mausoleum to the next. It was paradise. The h

Mandu is not a typical touristy place and hence the choices of accommodation remains fairy small. Hotel Rupmati comes in with its own set of pleasures and pains. On the plus side, the hotel is on the main road and is barely a km or two away from the beautiful Jami Masjid and Jahaz Mahal respectively

It is sad to see a property in an excellent location, with a panoramic view,in a state of disrepair . The rooms are dingy, had lizards running around, the sheets were filthy, the exhaust not working, the wash basin almost fell off and landed on my foot,no clean towels......the list is endless. Spent just

We were quoted 1400rs plus tax without breakfast for a double room. The room was spacious and opened out onto a shared terrace with spectacular views across the gorge. The room itself was old and tired looking and some of the fixtures were shabby. The restaurant area was dark & dingy with plastic cha

It's my second visit of Mandu, and I chose to stay in this hotel. The location is fantastic - really calm and green, with the great view. It's a bit out of the village centre, but we had nothing against it. The staff is really helpful and the food is fantastic (we loved cauliflower tikka!!!). Rooms

Make sure you book the hotel beforehand or else you will not get rooms if you land directly, beautiful place and close to all Mandu attractions. Delicious Food & Good Service. Will visit again in future. Early morning walk is recommended as the place is extremely beautiful !

Rupmati undoubtedly has an amazing view over the plain as it is located at the cliff.. and if that's all that you care about.. it won't disappoint you. But if you are also looking for cleanliness, good sleep, decent food and service, stay away from this hotel.very dirty rooms with poor maintenance.

Best Hotel in Mandu which is also much economical.. Location of the Hotel is better...Mandu,is a historical place of historic proportions but not promoted well by the Government of MP. Rooms are not excellent but the other faculties are much more impressive.

The view is good no doubt, but the hotel has done nothing to create it,,right? All that they could do, they've totally screwed up. Very bad bathrooms, hanging wires, smelly bed sheets, oily food,,the list goes on and on. We took the best available rooms, still suffered. All the other resorts were fu
