When we talk about government mange hotels we all have that idea it will not be up to the mark. I was completely and utterly wrong about MPT Sheesh Mahal. Located within the palace complex right in between the Raja Mahal and the Jahangir Mahal, you can't get more central than Sheesh Mahal. The Hotel

Great food , the location doesn't get better and amazing staff. Very courteous and professional. We didn't stay at the property but used the restaurant. The restaurant can match any 5 star restaurant in terms of location as it is built inside the main fort.

THE best place to stay in Orchha , part of the palace complex it’s old fashioned and wonderful especially after dark when the palace closes and the site is quiet. Only a handful of rooms with no 1 the Maharajas suite, a huge bedroom with attached bathroom and toilet that sits out like a throne room!
