Geyzing-Pelling highway Ravangla Bazaar

We spent 6 days at Hotel Zumthang Ravengla. It has fine views of snowclad mountains, great Tibetan cooking, and good service. Rooms were good with wooden flooring and panelling. Heating was provided. An extension is being built.Planning to visit hills during summers & festival time in India (May/June or October /November) is quite a task and that too if you are planning with your family. Problems

Tucked away a kilometer or so from the congested Ravangla bazaar is this gem of a hotel. There are other hotels probably more plush and expensive than this one, however it is the genuine warmth and sincere hospitality of Mrs Pema Bhutia and her husband Mr. Norbu Bhutia who owns the hotel and each of

View of Kachenjungha was great from room and balcony. But I think if you book the first floor room then the view

This hotel is situated away from the crowded market area of Ravangla, has very good view from the rooms on back side, and is well maintained. It's more like a homestay in a hotel, where you can go into the kitchen, and tell what you would like to eat. The owner Mrs. Pema is a nice lady, works all da

I cannot stress enough about the hospitality and decency of the owners of this homestay! They are untouched by today's fast-paced life and believe in values that are on the verge of extinction. The owner, Pema, serves homemade meals and I joined to help her in her basic but clean and big kitchen.
