Located right beside the Bhopal-Vidisha Highway and just 500 meters from the Sanchi Stupa, MPT Gateway Retreat is a convenient stay option at Sanchi. We had booked AC standard rooms which are very old style and need renovation. The floor and the lighting inside the rooms need immediate improvement.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Gateway Retreat, Sanchi. The staff helped arrange a trip to the Udaygiri Caves, and the location of the hotel means you are not far from the Sanchi Stupas. The bar is cosy with fun decor. I love that I could see langurs and a great variety of birdlife at the hotel garde

Comfotable stay at MPT Gateway. Staff very helpful and polite. Beautiful maintained lawn, and the Buddha statue when you enter is very impressive specially in the evenings when yhe blue lights are on.Location within walking distance of the Stupas.

After seeing Sanchi stupa & Udaygiri caves we reached this hotel on main road. Nice large property with neat clean washrooms. We enjoyed tea pakoras in their restuarant. This MPT staff organise Light & Sound ,laser show at Sanchi stupas in evening. Show is only possible if there are 10 people to wat

The behaviour of waiter was not up to the mark. Without any rush or reservation we were shifted to unconvient seating area.Food was disaster. They served full of oil papad instead of masala papad.we felt very insulting as we had archeology students with us.
