Shiva Residency is warm, welcoming and the perfect place to stay on a trip to Tiruvanamalai. Located close to the business district, we are a 3 hr drive (185 kms) from Chennai International Airport and just 1 hr from the Tindivanam Railway Station.Closer to Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar temple, maximum of 5 to 7 minutes of drive. Closer to Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleswarar temple, maximum of 5 to 7 minutes of drive. Nice clean and calm place if you want to visit temple and go for ‘kirivalam’ or to visit ‘Ramanathans Maharishi Aasrsmam or many Aasrsmam around. Adayar anandabawan (A2B) is situated in the same buildings first

The hotel is reasonably priced and nearby the Main temple and girivalam road. The room comes with complimentary breakfast from the Adyar Ananda Bhavan which situated just below the hotel. The room and toilet are clean. The food is excellent. My mother and I had a pleasant stay.

I stayed in shiva residency for a day in Oct.2014. It is a decent hotel and value for money(Rs.1900/day). They have 24 hrs checkin / checkout. Adyar Ananda Bhavan veg restaurant is located in the ground floor. Food is excellent here. Rooms are well maintained. Most rooms have centralized AC with i

We stayed last December in this Hotel. Rooms are decent but small, however maintained neatly. Service is OK. We didnt get accommodation in Ramanashram and our driver suggested this place, as this is not very far from the temple and A2B restaurant is downstairs.

At last an acceptable hotel in Tirvannamali. Be warned, it is vegetarian but it is clean tidy and up to date, hopefully it will stay that way and not go the way of many India hostilities. if you are visiting TVMalai, the Shiva is the best option.

Clean rooms, good hotel A2B in the ground floor. About 3 km from Temple, Ramana Ashram, basement parking. Easy to get in /out - being on Vellore road, would not be impacted by roadblocks around temple on Girivalam day/night.

Good value for money...has aircond,instant hot/cold water,cable tv,free mineral water,kettle on request..clean room and has pure vegetarian restaurant downstairs which serves delicious food. Staff are pleasant and caring of female solo traveler's safety👌.
