We were only at the resort for one night. It was clean, quiet and people were very helpful. This is more of a meditation center than hotel. Rooms are eco friendly. They offer various things to do for those interested in Indian culture. The only food served was pure vegetarian and no alcohol.

The meals were really too good. The chef also made dishes to suit our taste in the room delivery orders. The proximity to the temple is a big plus to the resort. The resort arranging an auto to take us the temple early in the morning was also a generous gesture.

Our family of 8 planned a one night stay at Sparsa resort and it was the right decision. Since our group had two 60+ and two 80+ members, Sparsa made sure we had rooms in ground floor. The customer service, food, surroundings were all top class and we all had a comfortable and relaxed stay.

The rooms in the villas are very nice, however the resort is quite small so you can't really go for a walk, and the food was a big disappointment as everything was very very salty, greasy (ghee everywhere), and very very spicy (chillies). Everything from the welcome to the exit was incredibly nice. The staff were very accommodating and had good knowledge about the things to do in Thiruvanamallai. The restaurant served good vegetarian food and although the waiters were initially slow, for other meals they were quick and responsive.
