Being a solo female traveler, i found MVT very safe and nice place to stay in Vrindavan. Everything was nice in the guesthouse. Whole place has been refurbished since my last visit 2 years ago, they now have an elevator which is a big bonus!Stayed in one of the new rooms which are comfortable enough. I have stayed at MVT couple of times and I believe I am qualified to review it.Pros: Excellent location, Adjacent to Sri Krsna Balaram temple, Beautiful garden, Great restaurantCons:1. Impolite & terribly rude staff at the reception. Not at all welcoming, would never consider you a guest or devotee.

This is the closest you could get to ISKCON Krishna Balram temple. I attended Mangal Aarti all the days I stayed there, proximity to the temple and the wonderful food at the restaurant was a big relief, we were able to devote all our attention to Krishna versus worrying about food or transportation.

It’s a great hotel to stay. We really liked the humble nature of Mr Acharya. His advices were particularly great. Comfortable and cozy style of accommodation and gardens are very scenic and you can be quite close the nature and the temple.
