I have been to Hampi thrice in past 3 years and all the times I have stayed at this place. One will fall in love with the spectacular view of the river and the paddy fields. The cottages and rooms are in good condition and they have a very nice and relaxing dining area. Their restaurant serves great food which is an add on benefit for the travelers as they can relax there without going out to look

Last time we visited Hampi, we stayed on the other side of the river in a guest house near Sri Virupaksha temple. The side on which Mowgli guest house is situated has better view and is more quaint. We stayed at Mowgli guest house for two nights. We choose a room with a/c, the sheets were dirty , uncomfortable bed and disgusting bathroom. After the visit we found out that the reason that the a/c worked only for couple of hours each day is because the manager had a switch out side of the room

Mowgli is one of the good resorts on the (Virupapura Gaddi side).
