We are a friendly guesthouse with bar and restaurant overlooking the Kalimpong hills. Our five wood-panelled, en-suite twin rooms come with ample hot water, cable TV and hot water bottles for the winter months. Our restaurant offers a wide range of fine Himalayan (Bhutanese, Sikkimese, Nepali and Tibetan), Indian and Western food. We offer fresh coffee with our breakfast, and free Wi-fi 24/7. Our

The place is pretty cozy and has a good ambience The food was well prepared however can improve .The service was slow but the staff was great , can probably do better in proactively updating customer about items not available when they are ordering the platter .Overall my family had a great time !

If you are in Kalimpong, then you have to be in Cloud 9 !!! Cloud 9 ---- perhaps this is THE place you'd like to stay, if you want to really catch the spirit of Kalimpong, aka Darjeeling Hills !!!! You will be washed ashore by the Hill culture. The food is simply brilliant, the roasted pork is just

To be fair, it's been several years since my husband and I stayed at Cloud 9. We were there in the off-season, so I believe we had the whole guest house to ourselves. The room was clean and very comfortable, and I remember the food being delicious. But the highlight of our stay was the owner, Bin

We tasted Nepali thali in cloud 9 restaurant recently. The experience has been terrible. We asked for 2 chicken and 2 mutton thali. Good value for the money. Rooms were clean with big picture windows and views of the mountains. The food was also good and budget-friendly. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, though the owner of the place was a bit odd and not a very warm guy.

Not the best hotel in town, certainly not the most modern, but this place has bags of charm and the most accommodating owner I have ever met; just mention that you know some Beatles songs and he will get out the songbook and guitar and join in. Perched at the edge of town it is just a short distance

Small and intimate, Cloud Nine still emanates faint whiffs of Beatlemania, not the least because of its irascible landlord and owner who can occasionally be persuaded to unbag a six string and render a reasonable cover of Yellow Submarine. The walls of the restaurant are lined with his luminous land

We dropped into this place for lunch after a tiring day (we didn't really stay here) and I must say, we had a wonderful experience and a great conversation with the host, Mr. Binod! Felt like family and we will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Kalimpong. We did check out the rooms while

We loved our stay in Cloud Nine. It was pre booked because it was the travel season and we feared for unavailability. Beautifully decorated inside and well maintained. Friendly and cooperative staffs. The cook is really skilled, we had our meals and breakfast within the hotel itself.

It was a nice & pleasant stay worth the cost paid for the rooms. Booking was made through Travel Monk Tours. Since all 5 rooms were booked, it was as if the entire house belonged to us. Our floor also had a cozy sit-out with TV and lots of books to read. The owner Mr. Binod was a nice gentleman with
