Hotel is cheerfully painted bright yellow. Rooms,are big, but cold. Little heater has to work overtime. No elevator, just stairs. Staff at reception and restaurant are excellent and speak good English. Food in restaurant was excellent and well priced. Slow service though as everything is made fres

It is a good hotel run by a lovely lady Dr. Pema. Location is good. Calm & peaceful hotel in pristine Kalimpong. Hotel does take care of your stay & overall a good hospitality.Little lack of staff has been observed which is temporary.

We halted at Kalimpong for a Day, during the North East Trip. Our tour arranger assigned us this hotel " The Breathing Stone ". Excellent Stay. Very homely and people of hotel are very good & polite. On the outskirts of kalimpong, you have nice view of the mountains. Rooms were also neat & clean.A must stay if you are in kalimpong.
