This was the perfect ending to our 3 week holiday in India. We stayed at Club Mahindra Cherai Beach for 3 nights. I do curse myself regularly for buying club Mahindra membership for taking pains to get a booking at a resort. Even though I have top membership, I cannot book 4 months prior. The whole property is unkempt. The air conditioning is not properly working through out the resort. They gave us rooms which had mouldy smell and was not 100% clean. Food was also not up to the standard. I am a Club Mahinda Member and then also they were not able to serve better. The head chef came

The property is located just opposite the beach, it is well maintained and the staff is very helpful. The buffet is average but there are some good options available outside like Lilliput etc. A trip to the jumping fish farm at malippuram is highly recommended. Get a package deal from the fish farm
