Ambience 5/5 :This property is built over the slopes of the hills and therefore one needs to climb steps/walk over steep roads. The property is quite spick and clean, but the location is quite far about 30Minuts drive from Kodai lake the accessing roads are narrow. This resort is an awesome choice for off season as you will get rooms for 50% lesser price. The only catch is that this is located very far from the city center and you will have to spend atleast 600 rupees just to go out. So, most of the times you will have to dine in their restaurant only. The tas

Booked the Timber Chalet for 3 nights, our stay at the property was very pleasant. We traveled to Kodaikanal in mid December. The stay, food and location of this hotel is good. Would suggest this for a safe family get together during these Covid times. Improvements can be made on standard check-in and check out timings and on maintaining basic essentials toiletries items across the rooms which is hit or miss at times.

The Room service and Location was excellent, Breakfast was delicious... As part of improvement, the management can reduce the food cost for lunch & dinner. Lift service needs to be looked into it, which was under maintenance for the complete 3 days of my trip.

Being a 4 star hotel they couldn’t provide us with basic necessities like water, hand towels & laundry bags. And the bath towels provided were so old that there was a weird smell coming out of th

When we were planning for trip to Kodaikanal this resort was shortlisted among few others , earlier we were little confused about this resort due to high (infact most) number of reviews by 1st timer,this was looking suspicious but finally took the risk going through photos attached with the reviews

Great hospitality by staffs and Breath taking locationFood quality is very good. Rooms were so comfortable and staffs were very responsive to our queries/ needs. Overall a nice place for calm and peaceful stay.

Had a great time at GRT Great Trials. Spent about 4 days here and had a really nice time. Every single person, from the valet to the receptionist to the room service were very courteous. Sweet people too as they guided us with pointers around which places were still open. Pretty knowledgeable folks
