Standing tall at the entrance of Kohima Village yet secluded from prying eyes is RazhuPru. Quirkily poised between a heritage and boutique hotel,RazhuPru was originally a family home built in the post world war II winter of 1946. The name RazhuPru literally translated means a comforting, resting place. The house has been awarded a "heritage status". An old house with a new soul,RazhuPru promises co

A vintage world war era house, with a lot of history attached to it, now converted to a hotel. It has the old charm with the modern amenities. A relaxing, comfortable stay in the heart of Kohima; clean rooms, excellent service and a great host! The best place to stay in Kohima.

Loved every minute of my 3 night stay in Razhu Pru. Super cosy place with very clean rooms and facilities. Staff were excellent and so helpful to me the entire time. Great WiFi and great food. Loved it :)

The Razhu Pru is a very welcome addition to the utilitarian hotel scene in Kohima, there being only one other Heritage establishment with a few guest rooms. Nagaland is only now opening up to more foreign travellers, and demand for lodging in heritage buildings will be increasing. The Rhaza Pru ha

My wife and I, and another couple visited Kohima. We found this place, and although Lonely Planet, may have went overboard with the term "opulent", we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here. It is an old house - from 1947?, the decor is Naga style. A fire place that the staff were willing to light jus

Very cosy place. It's not cheap but compared to prices in Kohima, it's reasonable. As per another reviewer, you do have go look for staff if you want something. The manager Sushma is quite helpful for further travel. Best thing about the place is its wifi. Though sometimes slow but always available

It has all sorts of wonderful Naga artifacts, some of which are also for sale. I called the evening before arriving while I w

I enjoyed my stay here. Sushma and Avon were perfect hosts, helping me plan my sightseeing etc. Everything worked well in the room - The heating, hot water ( I was travelling in the last week of Nov). Though power is erratic in Nagaland but Razhu Pru had inverter backup (I guess everyone in Nagaland

We, 4 ladies from Bangalore stayed in the homestay for 4 nights during hornbill festival.Loved the decoration and fireplace every evening in the drawing room. We opted for Deluxe room which seemed not part of the main building though. There are some standard and super deluxe rooms next to the recept

A cosy and old heritage residence turned into a guest house up in the 'village' above and yet within Kohima town. A family home that has open its doors to visitors and guests alike. Cosy rooms that are well done and properly maintained. Slim staff but no problems because they do not have too many ro

I discovered Razhu Pru through Trip Advisor, and decided to give it a try, when I went for work at Kohima. It is a lovely Naga Homestay, and if you are not very fussy , you will love this typically Naga place. The rooms are a bit dark , but I had taken a room with a view, which went through the Dini
