A very convenient hotel for the sights in the centre of Mysore. We stayed there for three nights whilst using local guides for a city walking tour and for sights further afield. The hotel has a colonial charm to it so some aspects somewhat dated but our stay was delightful. The bedroom was large with

The old rooms are vast but all the rooms have huge shady balconies , with a fan , overlooking the pretty gardens . Cool and lovely for morning tea and for an evening drink . Good big bed, lovely soft

We stayed 2 nights at the Metropole in February. Our room was comfortable with a large balcony overlooking trees, quiet at night. The hotel is well-organised in the main, but on the Sunday night the restaurant was very busy with a large tour group and there were not enough staff to cope with the re
