Smoky Falls Mae Fi Resort is located at Tyrna Village, 7 km from Cherrapunjee enroute to the Double decker living root bridge and Rainbow Falls, Nongriat. You can stay at our resort and park your car here and get down to Nongriat. The trek from here is about an hour. The resort has a view point, where you can see many waterfalls falling down from Sohra / Cherrapunjee mountain range.Post our visit

The resort is a smallish place with limited rooms, very near to the start point for Double Root bridge trek. The attic room was pretty cute.However, since it is located in the wilderness, expect a lot of bugs, insects, maybe even spiders. The food was nothing great, but the food was prepared fresh.

Please do not book this resort. The cancellation policy for the resort is very bad. I booked for three rooms for a total amount of 15000Rs and I paid 30% i.e Rs 5000 as advance amount. But due to some emergency I could not go and have to cancel the trip. According to the cancellation policy, before

I don't think this place can be called a resort. They don't maintain it, they don't prepare good food and they never clean the rooms nor they care about the guests. I really haven't seen such an uncleaned place ever. Even roadside dhabas are cleaner. The rooms are full of bugs, the restaurant tables
