We stayed here for one night in January 2012. It was all about you get what you pay.After visiting three more expensive but not better hotels, we stayed in this cheapy. The location is good, they have tons of room...but a huge amount of dust and terrible smell in the bathrooms. Otherwise it's not a bad place for the cost, but it could be cheaper! The location doesn't seem convenient at first but is actually quite good compared to other choices in town!

This Ashoka lodge is very worst lodge in TanjoreReception peoples are Roudy and they treated the guest very poor. We took Double bed Room. Fan is not working Properly. if we ask the Reception people they use vulgar words. Our Trip totally upset because of the Reception Roudy

This is a nice hotel to stay and is value for money. The room is neat and clean and all te basic amenities are provided. The washroom is also maintained well. The staff were also friendly. Overall it was a good stay.
