The hotel is located right in the middle of town on the main road. Our room was amazingly quiet considering the traffic passing the hotel. This “ historic” hotel is like staying in a dungeon, windows are covered with wood and unable to open. There is no television, water or kettle provided. The shower does not drain properly thus the bathroom is flooded. The roof top terrace is very dirty. Service from the restaurant was very slow,

We stayed here for one night going through Thanjavur. The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel well located in the heart of Thanjavur near the palace. The Manager was very professional and helpful and gave us a choice of rooms. He then helped us with our onward travel. The rooms are lovely and spacious,

The rooms were super dirty. We got used sheets, asked for fresh ones which were fully stained. Our friend in the other room had blood period stains on the sheets. There was thick dust everywhere. This hotel should not be in business. No one was there at night, the entry door was open at 6am as two women were sweeping. Our driver looked for a toilet to use and found a room with rats. My reading lights were broken. It’s located on a main road with lots of traffic and nowhere to unload the sui
