This is a perfectly fine hotel. The room was very clean and reasonably spacious. The food in the restaurant was quite good as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there for two nights, during mid-January. There is no built-in heating in the rooms or restaurant (small space heaters onl

Hotels in Kohima are limited. The rooms in De Oriental Grand are spacious enough and have been renovated recently, including the bathrooms, which are nice and shiny. As often in India, hot water is in short supply, though, because of rather small electric boilers. It is sufficient for a quick shower

Situated on the highway and easy to access. Rooms are costly if we compare with prices of similar hotels in and around. Good view frkmnthe too at night. Restaurant is attached and breakfast is served as complementary.

room is good, hotel is very good with good ambiance. BUT every body is not properly trained and very unprofessional. very very limited breakfast with shortage of manpower during breakfast time. Only one person was available during breakfast time.

Went with family and friends for the Hornbill Fest.Wonderful, warm, clean property.Good F&B, great HK and friendly staff.Highly recommend this property in Kohima.Names of staff who went beyond their way to serve include Peza of FO, HK Supervisor, and many others in F&B, Chef Ganesh etc

It is one of the biggest and grandest hotel in Kohima. We were booked in the mini suite and it was the best room you can find in terms of luxury in Kohima. The food was nice but we spent more time eating at the hornbill festival and the night market. The breakfast spread was also lavish and catering
